Nutrients and oxygen are the essential components for soil on which a proper seed or plant bed is to be created. By loosening and turning over the soil with a rotary hoe, oxygen can penetrate the soil and nutrients are transported upwards, where they can be reached by the short roots of the young plants. It also prevents sealing of the soil. Since the time factor in particular is crucial nowadays for the relaying of green areas such as parks, residential areas and leisure facilities, golf courses, football fields and other sports fields or turf production, the reverse rotary hoe in the UM41 (with seed equipment) or UO40/41 (without seed equipment) ranges is the perfect attachment. It takes care of tilling, burial, levelling, sowing, incorporation and reconsolidation in a single operation and thus provides the perfect support for facilities large and small. The UM41 and UO40/41 have been specially developed for operation with compact and municipal tractors as well as agricultural towing vehicles with up to 80 hp.

Highlights
Six operations in one step
The blades (1), which turn in the opposite direction to the direction of travel, pick up the soil and throw it against a mesh made from high-quality stainless steel. Large soil elements are screened out by the mesh and fall into the tilling cavity in front of the mesh. The freely suspended levelling plate (2) levels out any unevenness. The wide sowing system (3+4) spreads the seeds across the width. Tuft and row growth are avoided. The 2nd levelling bar (5) works the seeds in slightly. The large grid roller (30 cm over the tilling width) (6) presses the tilled soil down and reconsolidates the soil.
Built-in auger flight prevents material build-up
The large grid roller at the rear of the reverse rotary hoe is equipped with a high-quality auger flight. Material build-ups are thus prevented and the machine is not unnecessarily weighed down. As a result, the towing vehicle’s power output can be optimally transferred to the machine and the towing vehicle’s steering is not negatively affected – a safety aspect when working in the field.
Burying stones and sods
A coarse screen in the housing ensures that coarse material such as stones and sods are automatically worked into the soil and do not have to be separately removed by hand. The spring steel used for this makes the rakes particularly robust and durable.
High-quality components for long service life
We use only high-quality components such as the stainless steel seed box, chrome-plated shafts for the lateral displacement, sliding bushings and an impact-resistant powder-coated housing so that you can enjoy your reverse rotary hoe for a long time.
